The Toronto Blue Jays' 2025 season
Baseball is my favourite sport, and the Blue Jays are my favourite team. Always have been, always will be. I've been a die-hard fan for years now, living and dying with every pitch even through the worst of the down years. In April, the 2025 season wasn't looking like it was going to be anything special... maybe just another let down. Then the Jays really turned it around in the month of May, and never looked back. I wasn't convinced at first that their hot streak of play was going to last. I also didn't think they'd go back to how they were playing in April. I figured they'd land somewhere in the middle and be a Wild Card team. But they just kept on proving everybody wrong, ended up winning the division, and got so close to winning the World Series! What an incredible season. Magical. I would have of course loved to see them win the World Series... but their run in 2025 was honestly good enough to keep me happy as a fan for years to come. I will always remember it.
